Breakfast: Cat food from the tin i.e. Whiskas, Dine, Fancy Feast (don't use the cheap brands, they are not very good). Use mainly the meat varieties and only use fish once or twice a week.
Lunch: If people are working, more cat food should be left for breakfast. I usually give a little snack of biscuits for lunch which will vary from
Whiskas TOP (buy from supermarket) Purina kitten (buy from supermarket) Science Diet (buy from pet food outlet) Whiskas Professional (buy from pet food outlet) Iams (buy from pet food outlet) Eukanuba (buy from pet food outlet) Proplan (buy from pet food outlet)
Dinner: Fresh lean meat should be given. You can buy this from Aldi, or the supermarket in the pet section where the meats are. You can feed cooked chicken or fish as a variety. Chicken wings or chicken neck should be given twice a week to aid in tarter control and healthy gums. Cornish Rex like corn cobs also.
Super: Grated cheese is considered a great delicacy and may be given as a reward, or at super time, just before you go to bed. You can give some biscuits as a alternative.
Water: There should be plenty of fresh water available at all times, and it should be changed daily
Milk: If you want to give your kitten milk, give a pet food milk like milk plus and mix in a egg yolk. Your kitten has been reared onto water at this stage, but you can give milk once or twice a week as a treat.
Worming: Worming your kitten is essential and should be done every three months.
Special foods: If your cat is off colour, try giving you kitten Tuna in spring water (buy from the human section), cooked chicken and a little bit of vegemite. If your kitten has loose motions, sprinkle some corn flour over his/her food, this will mold the motion back together, and cut out the dairy products such as cheese and milk.
